Instead of waiting for seeds to germinate and fill in those bare spots in your lawn, Sod allows you to have that picturesque lawn in less than a week! Most sod jobs take us only 2 days from preparation to final roll, so anytime is a good time for a brand new lawn!
What separates Grassmaster of Wake County from other sod sources?
If you have ever seen new home construction, you probably have seen careless sodding. The sod is laid down on hard dirt/clay and you can see every seam so that the lawn looks like a puzzle, and it continues to look that way until weeds pop up between the pieces.

The first step in all of our sod jobs is to prep the ground. We mix nutrients in with the current soil, amending it to give the sod everything it needs to grow.
Then as we lay the sod, we use a method that overlaps the seams, ensuring that it will grow together and give that natural look. Puzzles are great, just not in your lawn!
Finally, after everything has been laid out, we use a lawn roller to ensure everything is flattened and balanced, creating that instant lawn as we drive away!
